During your hearing evaluation, you will be asked about your specific hearing difficulties and the situations which are troubling you the most.  Your ears are examined and a full, detailed hearing test undertaken.

A hearing test is used to measure the level at which different types of sound can be heard, indicating whether you have a hearing loss in either ear and to what degree.  The results are fullly explained and if appropriate these results are used to determine whether a hearing aid would be helpful and if so, what style and technology would be most appropriate.
